Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2007

Merry christmas everyone! So far this christmas eve I’ve had breakfast, watched three nuts for cinderella and free willy opened the present from my friends Marie and Live <3 and baked christmas cookies for my grandfather. At the moment my parents and sister is at church so its only me and Tarja home. Jumping in the shower shortly before figuring out what to wear before we go to my grandparents. Lots of love and happy holidays from Andrea and Tarja!

Oh !baby its cold outside! :O

oh the holiday season, the holiday season….Its been lots of stress at school, and then there was “christmas” dinner replacing presents with the friends, and my grandmother turned 70 today—> major birthday celebration, Marilyn Manson tomorrow…oh and its really really cold, no fun outfit, my only criteria these days is that its a rather warm outfit…my fave x-mas song “baby its cold outside”, I prefer the versiom by EllaFitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, but couldn’t find it, so this will do…download it or whatever! but stay clear of the jessica simpson- nick lachey crap! consider this the advent calendar for 13,14,15,16 and 17 ;)

London my love

December 6, 2007

so this weekend I went to London! here’s a little recap of what happened:

Thursday: Finnished up my math midterms before going to Gadermoen, my flight was delayed so I was in London around midnight…checked in at the grosvenor kensington hotel in duh, south kensington…

Friday: Went to Notting Hill and Portobello road. Found "The travel bookshop" from the Hugh Grant movie, bought at tunic at "Yami" and a purse from a crazy vintage lady, ate fish and chips lunch at a pub called Sir Duke Wellington or something…Friday night we had dinner at Cafe Pasta in Covent Garden, heavenly gorgonzola and spinach penne before we saw Chicago at the Cambridge theatre.

Saturday: Went to camden market, bought myself a new stud belt, leather jacket from the house of leather and a plaid shirt from rokit vintage, stopped for something to drink at The buckshead before we headed for oxford street. Apparently it was some kind of super duper shopping extravaganza event on oxford street so it was packed with people. Had a cheeseburger, vanilla milkshake and chocolate fudge cake lunch at Garfunkel’s. On oxford street I only bought a pair of "boyfriend jeans" at a store with lots of letters in its name. Ate dinner at Keiko sushi in south kensington.

There’s was a procession of dressed up kids too…

If I ever move to London I’m gonna get fat from all the delicious milkshake at Garfunkel’s!

Sunday: Went to Pet Pavilion at the farmers market in south kensigton, bought my baby a santa hat and some christmasy treats. Went to Knightsbridge where I spotted Orlando Bloom, but didn’t manage to catch up with him cause my father needed help buying a scarf..sigh…Moved on to Harvey Nichols  where I looked at all the expensive stuff and got my nails done in their"Champagne and nail bar" before a trip to Starbucks for some energy and ended the shopping in the Harrods food halls, didn’t bother to look at the rest cause I’ve been there before and they’ve got just the same at Harvey Nichols. Had pizza lunch at Pizza Organic in south kensington before we went to Gatwick where we ate "dinner" at Garfunkel’s, chocolate fudge cake and vanilla milkshake…Arrived back home at 2 am and the geel of course went to school monday morning and fell asleep in class, again….

I forgot my beloved iPod, but I’ve got songs playing in my head all the time plus the songs they played in the shops, so here’s my London dec 07 soundtrack, not my usual kind of music…

Wham: last christmas

Peter Cincotti: Goodbye philadelphia

Ronan Keating: When you say nothing at all

Kylie Minouge: 2 hearts

Fergie: Big girls don’t cry

Sean Kingston: Beautiful girls

Chicago: Razzle Dazzle

Maroon 5: Sunday morning

Edit: Posted cellpohne photos from Oxford street, going to add more pictures when I retrive the USB cable for my camera…

Sleepy head

December 3, 2007
I fell asleep in my SOSO (Sociology and socialanthropology) class today, sorry but another lesson with the teacher yapping on about the fourr, or is it five? ground pilars of a society is dead boring, and my marvelous outfit with pj- pants, uggs, hoodie and duffelcoat only made the nap even more comofortable..However it was a shock when this guy wakes me up when the lunch hour has started and everyone is running for their lockers etc saying: you may sit there if you like, I’ll just leave the bag here if that’s okay. HUH? I’m sure I would’ve slept through lunch aswell if he didn’t wake me…got home from london at 2. am this morning…aaanyways, will write bout the london trip later
