when I flipped through the fall collection of Alexander McQueen I bet the neighbours thought someone was having an orgasm in our apartment. When I look at photos I usually mumble to myself, yes, no or WTF?! I reeally loved McQueen’s fall 08 and I guess it sounded something like this: Yes,yes,oooh yes, oh my god yes,yes,yes,yesss

Mcqueen offers intricate embroidery too, and has accessorised his models with asian jewlery

I guess 15 outtakes from only one runway show is a bit over the top, but I just love his dresses….

I haven’t entirely forgiven my fave designers for dissapointing this spring, but their fall line is good enough, can’t say I found many daylooks I liked, its evening gowns they do best!

I absolutely refuse to post anything from the F/W 2008 shows yet, its too freakin’ early! its not even summer yet! Will post on the fall fashion LATER this year, when fall 2008 aproaches, fall 2008 is going to be great! not to mention my 18th birthday is october 11th ;)

(I will however continue posting stuff from the spring 2008 couture shows, cause couture rocks, and probably some spring ready to wear…)

I just feel the fall depression and lack of creativity closing in on me, and all I really really want now is a large comfy plaid shirt…of course this strain of thought isn’t original…the photos in the collage is from facehunter, the way-farers and hel-looks. And of course my style icons Ashley and Mary-Kate has worn plaid…

Feathers are definitley back! We’ve seen them on the catwalk and now on the celebs too!Mary-Kate Olsen was early on the feathers, wearing a feather dress to the costume institute gala in may, as well as beeing spotted with peacock feathers around her head a couple of days ago. Our beloved fashionista, Carrie aka Sarah Jessica Parker sported a feather clutch during the filming of Sex and the city -the movie, in New York this week. Cate Blanchett however may take the feather trend a bit far when she shows up at a premiere in feather PUMPS?

Just as us normal people entered fall the designers entered spring 2008 on the catwalk. I’ll make a summary as soon as the shows are over…wonder what’s hot next year?:P

Leather and knits are also hot this fall. I’ve added to my wishlist a leather skirt, like the one Ashley Olsen sports and the knitted beret Mary-Kate rocked back in 2006. Talking about knitting, my new project is knitting a long grey and blue scarf, the colours of Ravenclaw house on Hogwarts..nerd?…yeeah…
