What a girl wants

December 7, 2008

I’m back from work…dead boring and dead tired…anyhow I’ve got to study for my driver’s theory test…thought I’d take it before xmas but I dunno…I want my license ASAP! Went to Cecilie’s place last night we ate taco and watched The Rock a real boy’s movie so not much for me but if we should’ve watched Bridget Jones or something I reckon Marte’s boyfriends would’ve died. The rest of the evening I’lll eat christmas cookies drink coffee and read a bit driver’s theory and a bit Kafka on the shore before rounding it all of with What a girl wants on TV …

Mamma Mia!

September 20, 2008

I’ve spent the day with my family. First we took a family photo, the occasion was my sister’s confrimation last weekend. We got some great photos of her, the entire family, me and her, and our dog and my parents. Then mom and I went to Oslo to buy me a winter coat, she also got me a sweater…gah I feel like such a mamas girl when I say my mother bought me clothes but I think this was probably the last time as I turn 18 on october 11th and will from then on be more or less on my own financially…anyhow then dad came too and we went to friday’s for dinner, had chicken quesdillas and Oreo madness (the tastiest!) for dessert, sooo full. Anyways since my sister had friends over we went to the movies and saw Mamma Mia! What a GREAT movie, Amanda Seyfried is the cutest, and I loved her hair! Pierce Brosnan is a terrible singer though… I’ve grown up with ABBA on the stereo, my parents are ABBA maniacs and I guess I’m kinda too. It’s a real feelgood movie and both Bjørn Ulvaeus and Benny Anderson had cameo appearances….although the actors aren’t nearly as good as the originals it worth to see it…!

Jeans: H&M

Watched Sweeney Todd on friday night, GREAT, BLOOODY movie, with the hottest 40-something everrr…Johnny Depp<3 hehe I’ve gained weight though, when your own mother tells you to watch the calories then maybe you should….too much beer, easter eggs and crispo goes on your hips right away…Above is the outfit I wore to Sweeney Todd if you add a leather jacket and subtract the sunglasses (I looked so hideous I put them on for the photo) Anyways stil gotta find a way to take nice pictures with the self-timer or whatever it is called…tehe even though I look like a trainwreck at the moment the guy at the cash register at Rema totally made a pass at me ;P (haha am I getting  desperate?…he was kinda cute though…) ooh and I cut bangs before winterbreak! not the best photo of them though…

R.I.P Heath Ledger

January 23, 2008

I had intended on writting about the hotness that is, or ehm was Heath Ledger recently, but never got to do it, and acctually though I would do it today, until I was told he passed away on tuesday, so then its not too appropriate is it? Anyways, Heath Ledger was a great actor, so tomorrow I’ll purchase all the heath ledger movies I intended to buy ages ago but never did, and pull a Heath Ledger marathon on saturday. The stylish photograph is a pap photo from the set of the movie he was shooting with Lilly Cole and that mini-me dude. Heath Ledger’s style in this photo is impeccable! Just what a man is supposed to look like!

Julia Stiles

October 2, 2007

Last night I went to the ciema and saw "The Bourne Ultimatum". Action movies isn’t really my cup of tea, but I actually liked this one…And I just had to make a post about Julia Stiles, who plays the agent Nicky Parsons. She’s the cutest actress ever, she also stars in one of my faveourite movies; Mona Lisa smile.

up north

July 16, 2007

At 00.05 am friday morning I saw Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix, what a movie! The fashions of harry potter ain’t much to talk about, but I noticed one thing, in almost every scene without robes Hermione and Ron almost always wore striped sweaters while Harry wore solid colored sweaters. Is it some kind of symbolic value to this, or is it completely random? Everyone who’s re

ad the books knows there’s something going on between Ron and Hermione, is the sweaters a symbol for this?? hehe sorry, I’m tired, but who knows? I’ve also started kind of a "Harry Potter quest" I hope to manage to re-read the six previous harry potter books before I get the last one, a few days late because of my vacation, oh and I have also started a "bet" with my sister, betting that I will be dating either Daniel Radcliffe or Rupert Grint by 2010, when the last Harry Potter movie premieres…hehe in my dreams.. Oh by the way, me favourite character in the movie was Luna Lovegood (Looney) played by Evanna Lynch…hehe she reminds me a bit about me…we’re both quite flakey…

my favourite Hermione stripes…

my airplane outfit

At the moment its 02.20 am, and I haven’t fallen asleep yet, due to bad planning I had to write 3 articles for Portrait magazine and pack for my trip up north today, after leaving my dog with my grandparents. Sure I could’ve done it earlier, but my motto is something like this, "Everything I should have done yesterdat I’ll do some day next week", anyways I just didn’t have time! My main priority has been being with a friend of mine who moves to Ireland this fall, and splurge my money on sale at Gina Tricot…Anyways when packing for the trip I suffered, cause I wasn’t allowed to bring pumps, dresses and heaps of accessories, so what I packed was a pair of jeans, some tees, warm sweaters, trainers, wellies and a wet suit…oh and I also had to bring my one travelling essential, Green Chai Tea!! Above is the outfit I’m going to throw on in three and a half hours, when I’m going of to the airport, I don’t know if there will be an internet connection, but anyways I’m not allowed to bring my laptop and I sure wouldn’t waste my time online with all that beautiful nature…anyways I know the outfit ain’t too creative, but its comfortable, and gee its all from my splurge on Gina Tricot…

The queen

June 29, 2007

Helen Mirren as queen Elizabeth

Tonight my mother and I watched the award-winning movie The Queen starring Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth. I liked the movie, it portrayed the queen of England in a new way. I also noticed Mirren wore a lot of babushkas when acting out the royal familiy’s stay at Balmoral. Actually I read on Style.com today, that the babushka is replacing the turban this fall. Sadly I couldn’t find a good babushka picture of neither Mirren nor the queen herself.

I also like this poster, as it makes the queen look vounerable
