As previously posted I came back from NY yesterday, we did a lot of sightseeing and quite a bit of shopping too, I’ll write about that later, cause I haven’t gotten my suitcase yet because of the plane delay-mix up shiz and I haven’t transferred my photos either. What I do want to mention though is the american brand Abercrombie & Fitch, before I left for NY everyobdy was going on about how I HAD TO go to Abercrombie & Fitch, and uhm well so I did…
First of all, when I entered the store down at Pier 17 I walked into a huge, gloomy basement with dusty (or atleast they felt dusty) wall-to-wall plaid carpets right behind the door a salesman stands welcoming everybody with a "Hey! what’s goin on?". Geez I’ll tell you what’s going on, obviously I’m shopping! Anyways the clothing at A&F are reeeally dull with polo shirts, shorts and tank tops in white, navy and yellow hues, so not my style. Anyways I found a couple of cute tops, but the only sizes that was laid out was small and extra small, in all clothing except the jeans…That might be okay for girls like my sister who’s a size zero, but most people aren’t, anyways it took the grumpy, stick thin saleswoman some time to trace down two tops in medium which I bought, one baby blue PJ like sweatshirt and a navy top, how controversial! :O
A few days later I walked past the A&F store at 5th avenue where people were waiting in line around the corner outside, I just DON’T get it! But the guys working at A&F are kinda hawt though! Yes, people should be able to wear what ever they want, and I don’t really have anything against people who shop at A&F, but I am also entitled to have my own opinion on the subject.
